This exposition titled “2TO1” depicted a collection of 5 photographs, spreaded out over 6 months.  Rotating every two months, June/July and August/September contained two works each, while the final two months displayed only one, but one that speaks for two.

The title of the collection refers to both the obvious setup of this exposition and the vagueness of all other meanings that lie within it. 
Much as the title, I try to both present you evident beauty that often lies right in front of us, and at the same time leave you with the absence of certainty in regards to its surrounding reality.

Beauty surrounds us all, though everyone’s personal definition of the word dictates whether and when anything is perceived as such. Like a 5 year old who’s pulling his mom’s sleeve to show how cool the ladybug is he found, my work serves as the adult version of the former, me sharing with you how I define beauty and how it comes to life around me. 

The absence of true certainty rules our day to day and makes us realise we almost never fully know anything or anyone for certain, except for ourselves. This creates the concept of perception, and an individual reality for every single one of us. We all see the same but see it differently. We all search for meaning, but all find it separately.
